Create one original flat square 1:1 alternative album cover, full bleed edge to edge. Build a controlled anti-design collage from invented black-and-white botanical fragments, one cobalt rectangle, a red circular stamp shape without lettering, folded off-white paper and visibly torn edges. Offset the visual mass to the lower left, leaving calm cream space in the upper right. Place the exact fictional album title "ODD WEATHER" in large clean black letters in that upper-right space and "COMMON HOURS" small along the bottom. Keep the imperfect layering intentional and the words readable at thumbnail size. The title and artist are replaceable examples. Render only those exact words. No borrowed photo, known album composition, real logo, watermark, CD or vinyl mockup, or extra type.

Last Bus Home

512 × 512 · Lo-fi bedroom

Read the prompt

Create one original flat square 1:1 lo-fi album cover, full bleed edge to edge. View an invented coastal city at night through the rain-speckled rear window of an almost empty bus; draw it as textured hand-painted illustration, with indigo buildings, one amber streetlamp, and soft teal reflections. The window frame creates a natural border within the flat artwork, never a device mockup. Place the exact fictional title "LAST BUS" in large warm-cream simple type in the dark upper left, and "MILO DUSK" small underneath. Calm, intimate, readable at thumbnail size. The title and artist are replaceable examples. Render only those exact words. No anime franchise characters, real city landmarks, platform logo, watermark, CD case, vinyl mockup or extra text.

Read the prompt

Create one original flat square 1:1 house-music single cover, full bleed edge to edge. Draw three large concentric cobalt and coral arcs around a small cream sphere on an off-white ground; the arcs are interrupted by crisp rectangular cutouts, creating rhythm and depth without 3D objects. Use one bold black title block across the lower fifth with the exact fictional track title "OPEN FLOOR", and place "MIRA MODE" small at the upper left. Precise modern geometric design, striking in a tiny thumbnail. The title and artist are replaceable examples. Render only those exact words. No visualizer UI, record, sleeve, CD, mockup, real brand, watermark or extra text.

Create a square cinematic R&B album cover. Place an anonymous stylish person in side profile on the right behind rainy window reflections and out-of-focus city lights; leave deep black negative space on the left with a subtle information-grid texture. Add tall readable off-white title 'WET GLASS' stacked on the left and small muted-burgundy artist name 'MILO' below. Intimate late-night editorial photography, no logos.

Tips for text in AI cover art

  • Put the exact words in quotes and keep them short. A headline under about five words gives the model a clear target.
  • Ask for one or two text blocks rather than paragraphs. Name the placement, such as “top third” or “left half”, and say “no other text”.
  • The model draws text into the image. Check every letter; regenerate or adjust the prompt if one is off.
  • For exact brand fonts, logos, QR codes or long details, leave space and add them in your own editor. For cover art, use the No text option.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make an album cover with AI?

Describe your idea and put any exact words in quotes. The model and size are preset; style and advanced settings are optional. Review the credit estimate and generate, then check the lettering and refine your description to make another version.

Can I make an album cover from my own photo?

Yes. Upload a photo you own as an optional reference, and describe how to incorporate it in the final image.

What size should an album cover be?

This tool creates a high-resolution square 1:1 image, up to 4K on supported models. Check the actual exported pixel dimensions and your distributor’s current requirements before uploading; upscale if needed.

Can the AI write my artist name and album title?

Yes. The model draws quoted words into the image. Short headlines work best. Check every letter and regenerate if a letter or word is off.

Can I edit the text after the album cover is generated?

The text is part of the image, rather than a separate text layer. Change your description and regenerate, or add text in your own editor. Ask for artwork without text if you want to add typography later.

Can I release music with this cover commercially?

Commercial use is allowed on every plan under the AI Content Use Policy at /ai-content-policy. Use photos you own or have permission to use. Avoid brands, logos, label marks, other artists’ likenesses and people you do not have rights to include.

How many credits does an album cover cost?

The cost depends on the model, resolution and reference images. The generator shows the exact amount before you submit. See Model prices at /models and /docs/credits-and-pricing for the credit rules.

Can I make a single, EP or mixtape cover too?

Yes. Use the same square cover workflow for an album, single, EP or mixtape. Set your genre and mood, then check the destination’s image requirements.
